Good News!; Amazon placed Dr. Bates' 1943 book; Better Eyesight Without Glasses on Dr. Bates' page! I don't make money from its sales, but I am leaving it on. It IS Dr. Bates' work. And he did publish with Henry Holt & Company in 1943. The final edition of Dr. Bates' entire book (Perfect Sight Without Glasses) with all his pictures, experiments, true story telling about the corruption (suppression of natural eyesight methods, cures...) in the ophthalmology... colleges, hospitals was in 1940. The Henry Holt edition is shorter. It contains great training, the TRUE Bates Method. Many people prefer it due to it's simplification. The eyesight of many, of all ages has been cured by the training in this book.

Some vision teachers state that a book was published by Dr. Bates in 1919. But, I have not been able to verify it; the teachers hide the source of their information. This is sad. Its all about egos, power trips, greed.

We need Bates Method-Natural Eyesight Improvement colleges, training while working WITH eye doctors, and some basic Ophthalmology, Optometry training; so the entire, TRUE, safe, healthy Bates Method, it's history and sources are preserved and available to ALL students, graduates and the public. With changing times, exposure of corruption in many colleges; maybe someday an affordable Bates Method college will be created in Ophthalmology, Optometry colleges. With 2 years internship in hospitals, doctor's office. Free college, dorms in exchange for labor would be great! Medical... degrees should not be solely for the wealthy.

I often get calls from people who paid high priced (fake) natural vision teachers (and their corrupt eye doctor, surgeon, optician affiliates) for a class or book and ended up with a injured cornea or astigmatism, dry eyes due to the teacher, doctor endorsing the use of contact lenses. Dizzy spells, impaired vision and impaired brain function with the eyes, eye muscles... from their pinhole glasses. In the recent months there have been 3 more people who have contacted us for help correcting a eye-vision problem, injury caused by UNNATURAL vision teachers, authors that have their students doing these and other unnatural methods; magic eyes pictures (Artificial 3-D, unnatural fusion), eye stretching-clock rotations, pinhole glasses...

I am really heartsick and tired of this corruption in the vision teachers, authors community! Results from those harmful methods are; double vision, eye muscle and brain hemisphere dysfunction, detached vitreous, dizziness (a older man twisted his ankle, fell), impaired vision. Most recently (this evening) another lady called because she is seeing double after doing a unnatural vision teacher's artificial 3-D. She got in a minor but expensive car accident! Another person has developed a torn retina, double vision, eye muscle problem. A young man's contact lens scraped his cornea. I teach to NEVER wear contact lenses!

Helping these injured people is overwhelming! I have never trained these people in the past. They are coming to me to get help after being injured by the unnatural CORRUPT vision teachers! I have other students and luckily I am ahead of schedule. The unnatural teachers are making it hard on everyone; honest teachers and their students.
These unnatural teachers are also corrupting new people who are learning to be teachers (for a high price). The entire field is being destroyed by these false teachers!

Taking a while, but; every time I want to quit, I think of that sweet man who recently called in with a detached retina, double vision, blur caused by doing Artificial 3-D (Magical Eyes Pictures) as directed by one of those false/corrupt vision teachers on YouTube, Internet, in their schools... It is addictive as an eyeglass lens prescription is, and more addictive because you cannot remove it. The eyes are trapped with an eyeglass prescription inside the eye. The vision becomes more impaired due to addiction to stronger prescriptions. More surgery is needed if the prescription needs to be changed. Or eyeglasses are prescribed. Often eyeglasses are prescribed for a specific distance after the first lens surgery. An implanted immobile artificial lens (unable to naturally accommodate, un-accommodate ‘change shape’) is also a unnatural prescription and impairs the vision. The normal healthy human eye’s lens with clear vision is mobile; it changes shape (with the eye) to see clear-focus correct at different distances; close, middle, far. Some back in 1920-1940 may have been bootlegs - stolen from Dr. Bates and Emily!; They have misprints. I'm comparing all to create the best results, all editions pictures... When its done will post the misprints and color of covers, date so people know what to check for when buying Antique versions on ebay, auctions...
