I will start with one question;

(Opposite swing=objects appearing to move 'swing by' in the opposite direction the eyes, head move to.)

Teachers emphasize that far objects show a same direction swing while close objects show a opposite swing (as when doing the sway, long swing) but some don't emphasize the opposite swing can be seem on a far object when shifting on it, (not doing sway, long sing) same as it can be seen when shifting on a close object.
The far object shows a smaller opposite movement but it's still there.
I think teachers should include this entire information. One strict old time Bates teacher clarified this for me but he didn't understand about the same direction swing.
Some modern teachers left out the small shifting opposite swing of far objects, tending to concentrate on the same direction swing of far objects.

When shifting on a far object; increasing the head, body movement, (like turning into a small or larger sway or long swing) when it becomes longer than the shift of the eyes from one point to another on the object your looking at; the far object will start to show a same direction swing; moves in the same direction the eyes, head move to.

After I was told, "yes, you can see a far opposite swing if your central fixation is perfect"; I began to practice shifting on far objects and small parts and when that opposite swing occurs; relaxation occurs, the clarity increases and remains.
