I am nearsighted i have not wore glasses for about the same time things are blurry further out but i can still drive maybe not legally so i where them over my head just in case i need to see i will flip them down. I would say i do not where them 98% of the time when i go to work i leave the in the car, fine print is really good but if i look down at the floor smaller objects like stones and other things are harder to look at but larger objects like cars are ok but slighty blurry as i am driving the further down the road i look the worst it gets.
seeing colors is no problem but again further away more blurry i can really see the lights off the cars and the sunlight ok
any advice for the astig removal i am currently doing the switching shifting close, middle and far exercises i printed out that Mary e mailed me. 5 min both eyes then the right and both eyes again. i hope this correct.
I seen a utube video and they recommended squeezing the eyes tightly as this relaxes the eyes so i gather there a lot of incorrect info so thanx for that advice as i will not do that anymore.

Thanx for u u guys do muchly appreciated.

Hi Angelo,

yes, there's a TON of misleading information on the internet. Some of it is marketed so well it gets a lot of people to open their wallets for a 'system' promising to cure all their vision problems. Beware. Most everything you need to know is free, Clark has spent a lot of time putting a wealth of information here, you just want to keep it simple and find a way to fit it into your day, each day.

There is no real technique specifically for astigmatism - any technique that helps you relax and release tension in the eye muscles, that helps myopia will also help astigmatism. Of course, feedback is always helpful, so if you can see vertical lines better than horizontal due to your astigmatism, take notice of horizontal patterns throughout the day - shift around on them, and see how the horizontal ones come in and out of focus, how it fluxuates when you look in a relaxed way..... if you have an astigmatism chart, look at that each day from a comfortable distance, and palm for a few minutes and look at it, shift around on it, imagine the horizontal lines clear. I had 1.5 D of astigmatism, and found it helpful to remember and often imagine a short, sharp, clear thin horizontal line. When you can remember and imagine well, it's amazing how it influences your vision.
