Squeezing the eyes; do you mean closing the lids tight?
If yes; Might be a form of squinting or just the closing helps. Relaxed gentle closing is good. Squinting is not. I would avoid the squeezing. Just do the normal natural practices and you will get clear flashes that last longer and longer, become permanent. The fact that you can get these flashes of clarity proves your eyes can see clear and vision can improve to normal.

Never press on the eyeballs with the hands, fingers... Some teachers advise this but it's not good to do.

This video is mainly for close vision but it's good for learning where the central field is, how to line up the close and far objects;



You don't have to use the very small beads. Start with the regular size if its easier. The small are for close vision, curing presbyopia which you stated you do not have. They can be used for far also but start with the bigger, easier to see ones. Use buttons if you don't have beads.

If you are getting a double image of the bead your looking at; that means you need to improve convergence or un-convergence at that distance, the eyes fovea's moving upon that bead, both eyes together.
This is actually good; you have discovered the thing that needs correcting. Did you place the bead string on a pole so you don't have to hold it up with the hand. Holding it up too long can cause muscle tension that travels into the neck, head, then eye muscles.

Remember to keep the string centered between the eyes. NOT out to the left, right, up, down... Keep it straight and centered. Never place the bead string in front of one eye.

Relax and shift part to part on the bead, blink. You are supposed to see double images of the beads your not looking at (when using both eyes). That is normal. For the bead you are looking directly at; that bead should appear as one bead.
When using one eye; there are no double images.

Secret switching is on the last pages of the Perfect Sight Without Glasses book. See the man with the eye patch. Read directions carefully; never do the secret switching with both eyes; its only for one eye at a time with the close and far objects in front of that eye. DO NOT use the bead string with secret switching.

For plain switching; you can do it with both eyes and one eye; always with the objects between the eyes.

Figure eight; whatever is comfortable. I do 1-2 minutes a day. Sometimes smaller ones throughout the day for fun. Its up to you. If the neck is soar, don't overdo. Draw it in the air and relax, move gently though the tight muscle when you feel that spot.

Do the cross crawl and long swing, sway to increase benefits of all.

Fine print; Yes, the head moves in unison with the eyes, in the same direction. Flows nice and easy. The neck is loose, relaxed.
Movement changes with the size of the print; if you reading microscopic then the movement will be smaller as the head moves with the eyes along the tiny 1 or 3/4 inch page.
