Mad Cow hits the USA, other countries, even health food stores.

Stay away from all meat.

For years I was a vegetarian but did not have the money, time to study-buy the extra food, nutrients that we need to stay healthy, the things in meat that are good for you; B-12.., protein and others.
A vegetarian diet is great but you have to do it right. I am still not an expert. In the past 14 years I went back to meat occasionally; No red meat, no ham. Just turkey, fish for nerve strengthening, relaxation.

I am now seeking alternatives. It has always bothered me, I feel cruel eating meat; from a kindness, spiritual aspect.
Paul and Linda McCartney stopped eating meat when one day they were eating it and looked out their window to see sheep, animals grazing. They could no longer kill these sweet creatures.

My cable man in So. San Francisco is Chinese. I was telling him I started eating meat for the first time in many years and got the flu, a cold for first time in years. He said the same thing happened to his dad. His dad is a Buddhist and never ate meat and was rarely sick. He tried meat one day and soon became sick. He went back to his vegetarian diet and no longer gets sick.
